Sinopse

A jovem Mabel West é filha do escritor de mistérios Raymond West, que deseja que ela tenha uma vida normal. Rebelando-se contra isso, Mabel quer ser uma grande detetive e parte para Londres para se tornar assistente de ninguém menos que Hercule Poirot, o grande detetive belga que mora lá. Ela finalmente consegue a aprovação relutante de seu pai e embarca em uma vida emocionante de mistério e suspense - a única exigência dele é que ela ocasionalmente passe algum tempo com sua tia-avó, Jane Marple, no pequeno vilarejo de St. Mary Mead.
