With today’s release of the eleventh episode of “Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World” Season 4, the series is headed into a longer hiatus. To mark the occasion and keep fans hyped, the production team has unveiled the first key visual for the upcoming story arc.

The second half of the fourth season will adapt “The Recapture” arc across eight episodes. It is scheduled to premiere on August 12, 2026, on Japanese television, and will be available internationally via Crunchyroll.
Studio White Fox remains at the helm for the animation production. Masahiro Shinohara (unit director on Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl) is directing the new episodes, with Masahiro Yokotani (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) handling the series composition and screenplay.
Synopsis:
The battle in Priestella has been won, but the consequences are devastating: Rem remains in a deep sleep, Crusch has lost her memories, and Julius has even been robbed of his name. In search of a solution, Subaru learns of Shaula, a legendary sage with immeasurable knowledge.
Together with his friends, he sets out for the Pleiades Watchtower, where dangerous deserts, mighty beasts, and unknown threats await them.
