Personally, I’m actually looking forward to a new adaptation, hopefully with excellent animation quality. However, I find the pacing to be a bit questionable once again. The first season is supposed to cover 50 chapters. If the scope (50 chapters per season) remains the same and a new season comes out every year, the project would span over 20 years. That makes me wonder whether it really is an ā€œacceleratedā€ remake. I had actually fully expected that at least the East Blue would be covered in its entirety in the first season.
